Manga Entertainment UK have recently announced via their Twitter feed that they will be releasing the Zombie-infested anime Highschool Of The Dead in the UK on DVD & Blu-Ray, not only that its already been given an estimated release of "july 2011" and will shortly be available for pre-order from HMV, Play & Amazon UK.
The Blu-ray & DVD sets, which should be released in July, should contain all 12 Episodes from the series and will also feature an English Language audio track as well as the original Japanese Audio with English subtitles - but no other information (such as extras features) have been mentioned yet.
In Highschool Of The Dead student Takashi Komuro is a normal highschool boy, until an infection breaks out that turns people into zombie-like creatures. Along with his friends & the school nurse, they fight their way out and continue their journey to find out what exactly has happened to the world.
